Our Black Truffle Weekend immerses you in the fascinating world of the Périgord black truffle, one of the most prized treasures of French gastronomy. Offered exclusively in January, this experience invites you to discover the secrets of the black truffle during an immersive stay in the heart of the Dordogne.
The Program of Your Black Truffle Weekend in Dordogne
Day 1 – Friday: Arrival and Welcome Dinner
Arrive at the end of the afternoon and settle in at Les Hauts de Saint Vincent. In the evening, share a convivial table d’hôtes dinner, prepared with care by Stéphanie, alongside your fellow guests.
Day 2 – Saturday: Discovering the Black Truffle
Begin your day with a visit to the famous Sarlat truffle market, where you’ll experience the vibrant atmosphere and discover the treasures of the season.
For lunch, 2 different options depending on your date of stay :
Saturday January 9 : we propose you to have lunch at one of our partner restaurant and experience a meal with truffle
Saturday January 16 : you will enjoy the “Fête de la Truffe” in Sarlat and have a light lunch outside directly at the market with “croustous” around truffle
Saturday afternoon : Special Truffle Cooking Workshop and Tasting
You will take part in a hands-on cooking workshop led by Stéphanie 👩🍳.
You’ll learn how to cook traditional Périgord dishes featuring truffles, with a focus on simplicity and the refinement of flavors.
We will then gather for a convivial lunch 🍽️ to taste the dishes prepared during the workshop, in the friendly company of your fellow guests.
Day 3 – Sunday: homemade breakfast and check-out
You’ll leave with wonderful memories, new recipe ideas and, we hope, the inspiration to cook with truffles again at home.

Dates and Prices for Our 2027 Black Truffle Weekends
Choose from two weekends:
- Friday 8 to Sunday 10 January 2027
- Friday 15 to Sunday 17 January 2027, during the Sarlat Truffle Festival
€295 per person
Based on two people sharing a double room.
The package includes:
- Two nights in one of our charming guest rooms;
- Homemade breakfasts;
- Friday evening dinner at our table d’hôtes;
- A guided visit to Sarlat’s truffle market and medieval town;
- Saturday afternoon’s hands-on black truffle cooking workshop;
- Saturday evening’s truffle dinner, prepared and enjoyed together.
Not included: Saturday lunch, wines and personal expenses.
An Intimate Experience in a Small Group
For our 2027 edition, we have decided to limit each weekend to a maximum of 10 guests.
This small-group format allows us to take our time, share our passion for cooking and enjoy meaningful conversations, while welcoming you with the warmth and hospitality that make Les Hauts de Saint Vincent so special.
